A lively little town with maritime flair and a strong connection to the amber trade, Ribnitz-Damgarten is the gateway to the beloved holiday destination Fischland-Darß-Zingst and to the West Pomeranian national park, which is characterised by a unique Baltic lagoon landscape. 

Güstrow
The seventh-biggest town in MV nestles among nature reserves and is best known for its palace, its university of applied sciences, its wildlife park, and not one but three museums dedicated to the sculptor Ernst Barlach.

The geographical centre of MV is found in the state’s “little Switzerland”, a natural paradise of stunning beauty.
